The 3rd cause of Jobless Phobia is...
STATUS!!!
Situation 1 as below:
A: Hi, bro, where are you working now?
B: This is my name card. I'm working in Google now.
A: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Google? Walao, how to get recruited by Google? I also want!!!
B: Then what position you are holding in Google?
A: Management Trainee
B: Wow. That's great, soon to be manager and for sure the pay is high!
Situation 2 as below:
A: Hi, bro, where are you working now?
B: I'm jobless now. I'm doing online selling business now,
A: Selling what?
B: Some hobbies collection.
A: Oh. OK... (Walao, no future la...)
Nowadays, many of them are judging a person's status by knowing where and what they are working as.
If someone is working in a famous multinational company like Google and holding a professional position, he or she will be admired rather than those who working in a small firm or those JOBLESS people.
It is why nowadays people are blindly applying jobs to work in big firms and also caused less and less people to do things other than an employee of a company like businessman, musician, athlete, artist, celebrity, and etc.
What I can say is people getting less creative. They were programmed by schools to be a good employee. And if you can work in a big firm, then you will be admired.
OK, hopefully by giving the 2 simple situations above and some explanation you all can really understand what am I talking about. If not, you can try to be jobless now. LOL
Without letting you all to wait again. I would like to continue with the last cause of Jobless Phobia from my point of view.
From what I felt, it was caused by the PRESSURE from family or peer.
Even if your family is so kind that they not asking about your job searching progress, but you will still feel stress when you see your family members are going out to work in the morning and coming back from work in the evening. You feel so shame on yourself, you feel like: "Oh no, why am I so useless, I don't contribute anything to my family."
Besides that, I believe people are like to compete or compare to others.
When you see your ex-coursemate is having a high pay job in a big firm and driving a big car in a gathering. How will you feel? Will you compare with them? Will you feel like :"OMG, why can he earn so much, why can he drives such a nice car, I'm jobless now, I don't have money now, I lose to him, I'm so useless....."
I think it is clear and reasonable that I say pressure from family or peer is one of the cause of Jobless Phobia.
Alright, I have told all the causes of Jobless Phobia. It might has created a very negative or pessimistic mind or feeling to all my readers here.
But, I'm going to share you my fun experiences in my jobless days. And why am I dare to be jobless.
I just wish to tell all the jobless people, jobless is not the end of the world, but it is another begin of chapter in life. I believe that when God closes one door, He will always opens another window for us.
